Problem
IBM Guardium does not capture the source program correctly for Informix clients. The "source program" field of the report displays the path incorrectly.
Cause
The functionality to capture the path of the client binary has been introduced in IBM Informix CSDK 3.70.xC4 and IBM Informix Dynamic Server 11.70.xC4.
IBM Guardium has integrated the support for this functionality in GPU version 8.20 patch 20.
Resolving The Problem
- Upgrade to IBM Informix Dynamic Server (IDS) 11.70.xC4 or greater
- Recompile the applications using Informix CSDK 3.70.xC4 or greater.
- Upgrade to the latest Guardium 8.20 STAP
- Upgrade to Guardium collector version 8.20 patch level 20 or greater.
