Problem
Attempts to login to IBM Rational DOORS Web Access (DWA) result in the error "Login has failed".
Cause
The command used to configure the Data Change Notifications (DCN) is incorrect.
Diagnosing The Problem
Run the DCN info command to verify configuration:
dbadmin -data port@server -dcnInfo
Resolving The Problem
To resolve, follow the steps below:
- Confirm the DWA parameters (server, port, etc.) used for the DCN configuration are correct
- If you run the DCN info command and notice special characters in the output reenter the configuration command to remove the special characters
Note: The special characters normally appear as part of the command when it is copied and pasted into the command prompt. They do not appear when pasted but running the DCN info command will show them.
