Problem
Microsoft Visual J# is packaged with IBM InfoSphere Discovery 4.6 and requires that Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 is already installed.
Symptom
IBM InfoSphere Discovery Installer will attempt to install Visual J# 2.0 and Visual J# 20. The installation will fail.
Cause
The installation of Visual J# 2.0 requires Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework SP 2.
Resolving The Problem
Before you install IBM InfoSphere Discovery, download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2, Net Fx20FP2_x86.exe from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=1639.
