How do you activate the Thread window view in an model under IBM Rational Rhapsody?
Cause
Choosing the appropriate thread for execution will facilitate debugging in complex environments in which many threads are constantly being created and deleted on-the-fly
Answer
In order to view the tread window, apply the following steps:
- Launch Rhapsody and Execute the application in Animated mode
- Break the execution process
- Click the Thread button (under the Animation toolbar) which opens a window with the list of threads
Note: You can also change the focus to the required thread as well as see the relevant callstack with event queue within the output window
