Is it possible to keep the existing Addins and ProjectAddins settings in IBM ERM DOORS when you repair or upgrade?
Cause
When DOORS Addins and ProjectAddins locations are set either by shortcut or by registry keys; by upgrading or repairing DOORS installation removes these settings.
Answer
No. When you upgrade or repair your existing DOORS installation these settings are overwritten by the installer.
WORKAROUND:
Keep the existing settings by copying the default DOORS desktop shortcut, and editing the copy with the new addins details.
