Is it possible to run long number-crunching DXL functions in the background while maintaining the graphic user interface (GUI) in IBM Rational DOORS?
Cause
DXL does not appear to have any multi-threaded capability - everything that runs appears to block DOORS until completed. Clicking on any DOORS window will report "Not Responding"
Answer
No. The DOORS client is not multi-threaded and this is the correct behavior.
