Local fix

  • The problem can be avoided by setting the environment variable
TR_noShare=1

Problem summary

  • The JIT compiler generates incorrect code when inlining a method
that only contains a 'throws' statement, re-using a temporary
storage location before it has been finished with.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:

6.0.1 SR6
5.0.0 SR16 FP3

The JIT has been modified to handle this case correctly.
