WMS 7.11 recertification with Cognos 8.2

This enhancement is supposed to support IBM Cognos 8.2 with Foundation 7.11 and nWMSPCA75. Currently ReportNet version 1.1 MR3 is supported with Foundation 7.11 and nWMSPCA75. Since ReportNet version 1.1 MR3 is not supported by IBM we need to certify IBM Cognos 8.2 on Foundation 7.11 and nWMSPCA75.
1. Requirement
The requirement is that Sterling Supply Chain Applications Foundation 7.11 and nWMSPCA Analytics 7.5 should support IBM Cognos 8.2.

2. Assumptions and Limitations

1. Once we start supporting IBM Cognos 8.2 with Foundation 7.11 and nWMS PCA 7.5, we will stop supporting IBM Cognos ReportNet 1.1 MR3 with the above combination. Any customer moving to this HF or above this HF would be required to install Cognos 8.2 for using Analytics.

2. There are some known issues with IBM Cognos 8.2 for Foundation 8.0 and WMSPCA80 combination. These would exist in Foundation 711 and nWMS PCA 7.5 too once this combination starts supporting IBM Cognos 8.2. Please refer to section 2.3 of NWMS_PCA_Release_Notes.pdf of WMSPCA80 release for more details about the known issues
1. Solution

a. We will back port all the necessary infrastructure level changes done during Foundation 8.0 and WMSPCA8.0 release to Foundation 7.11 and nWMS PCA 7.5 to support IBM Cognos 8.2 specifications and guidelines.

b. We will do a fresh installation of Cognos 8.2. We will copy the model, reports and views released in WMSPCA 80 analytics to nWMS PCA 75 analytics' YNW_ANALYTICS_HOME's respective folders. We will deploy this model on Cognos 8.2 and import these reports to the content repository for Cognos 8.2.

c. We will use Sterling Supply Chain Apps Foundation 7.11's console screens to execute out of the box analytics reports and ensure that the integration between Cognos 8.2 and Sterling Supply Chain Apps Foundation 7.11 and nWMS PCA 7.5 is working fine.

d. We will ensure that all the fixes or changes that have been made (in HFs) to nWMS PCA 75 Analytics' reports or model are present in these reports or model that we will be using.

e. If there is any new report or view in WMS PCA 80 Analytics that was added during Dev release, we will remove it (report or view) from this HF release. As of now we know that there is only 1 new report that was added in WMS PCA 80 Dev release.
