DOM: How to create multiple transfer orders against an orderline in sales order?
Answer
Multiple transfer orders can be created for sales order. This can be
achieved through template consolidation (chained order consolidation template
in this case).
However if the requirement is to create
transfer orders for every single quantity, for a orderline in sales order, it
can be achieved only through customization. Using the out of the box product
configuration, only multiple transfer lines can be created against a single
order line in sales order.
The custom solution can be on these
lines. The ordered quantity on the sales order can be retrieved by calling
getOrderDetails and then a call can be made to multiApi to create those many
transfer orders. A hang off table can be created to track these transfer orders
in the database.
