Problem summary
The problem is due to MethodHandles.Lookup.find* methods failing to ensure that the defining class has been initialized.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 7.0.0 SR1 . The JVM has been modified ensure that the MethodHandle's defining class has been fully initialized before the MethodHandle is returned.
