Problem summary

• The variable used internally was not able to handle zip file
  size more than 2GB (2^31). If the variable is modified to handle
  2^32 bit size, JDK can handle up to 4 GB. The 64-bit zip format
  is not supported in JDK 6 and considered as a permanent
  restriction.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  6.0.0 SR10
  6.0.1 SR2
  7.0.0 SR1
  
  The JVM is updated to handle zip file greater than 2GB but
  less than 4 GB. The 64-bit zip format is not supported for JDK 6
  and below releases. Upgrade to JDK 7 or higher release for
  64-bit zip format support.
