Problem
MCF launch in clustered WebSphere environment throws com.ibm.ws.jsp.JspCoreException JSPG0036E exception
Symptom
Sample steps:
- Created the EAR file for the Application running on WebSphere Application Server (WAS) using a command like this:
./buildear.sh -Dappserver=websphere -Dpackage=yantra -Dnowebservice=true -Ddevmode=true create-ear - Deployed the Application on WAS
- Restarted WAS.
Then, when trying to launch the Application, following error is received (example):

Resolving The Problem
In a clustered environment for WAS, if the Deployment Manager is used, then whenever rebuilding and redeploying the Application EAR, the current EAR UNinstall should be synched up via the Deployment Manager.
Otherwise, if that sync is not done, then the EAR is not removed from the file system and the errors like these will be encountered.
