Problem

Front page of Multi Channel Selling (MCS) displays error message, log file error message about Invalid port number

Symptom

The application server started successfully, the admin login screen looks good, but the front Enterprise page displays message to contact system administrator. 

 

Error Message

Resolving The Problem

The real error mesage is about the database connection not being defined.  Here are the steps to follow.

       
  1. Verify entries in the <projectName>_<environment>.properties file in <project-home> directory.
    2.    
  2. Run sdk merge –light
    3.    
  3. Restart server
