Troubleshooting

Problem

HF installation fails due to unexpected error detected by Java Virtual Machine caused by shortage of shared resources

Symptom

While executing the entity deployer, a JVM error ia seen without any useful information. This occurred on Sun Solaris OS with Weblogic Application Server and Sun Java HotSpot 1.5.0_18.
This could also be a potential problem on other OS/platforms such as SUSE/Red Hat Linux using the above JDK vendor versions.

Error '134' deploying to application server.

Resolving The Problem

One possible cause identified for this is the shortage of shared resources in the environment for the deployment to execute.
Freeing-up the resources/memory by stopping other concurrent processes can help in overcoming the issue.
