Problem
WMS: OMP10080: Quantity greater than the allowed over receipt percentage limit - error while receiving
Symptom
During the receiving process user faces the error: OMP10080: Quantity
greater than allowed over receipt percentage limit. This happens when the
quantity being received is not within the allowed over receipt percentage
limit.
Problem Scenario Identified:
This can happen when the user has already received from order console by using "report/record receipt" button (used during paper based receiving) in order details console. Now if user tries to receive the same order through RF system will create a new shipment and receipt; it will not look into existing shipment(s) / receipt(s). Only when system tries to receive (against) this newly created shipment, it looks for the receivable quantity in order and finds order quantity has already been received and throws the above error.

Resolving The Problem
If the given quantity is within the allowed over receipt percentage limit;
the system allows over receipt. So to resolve the above mentioned user
error:
- Depending on the business process user(s) have to trained to use either 'Report / Record receipt' or RF based receiving and not both together.
- Or permission of being able to use 'Report / Record receipt' has to be disabled based on the business process again.
