APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
This APAR has been entered to make the authentication plugin interface code more robust. This is a defensive fix to increase sanity checks of the values passed from third party plugins to DB2 during authentication. If a bad structure is passed during authentication, it could cause db2 to trap and halt the instance. Often there is no stack trace in the associated trap file, most likely due to stack corruption.
