Problem
Error: 'You don’t have access to this view' while navigating to a custom JSP page
Symptom
The user might face "You don’t have access to this view" error while
navigating to a custom page.
This happens when the user is not
granted permission for that resource
You can check
yfs_resource_permission table for the resource id of that page to find out
whether permission is granted or not for that page.
resource id of the
page can be obtained from configurator: platform > presentation> resources >
<desired entity>
if the permission is granted for a resource an entry
will be made into yfs_resource_permission with active_flag=Y
Resolving The Problem
To resolve the issue permission need to be granted for that resource
In configurator navigate to Platform > Security > Groups
Select the
group of the user, choose permissions tab
Expand the permission for
required entity
Grant permission for required resource and save
