How to Create Dummy Shippers in DCS (For Simulation Purposes, etc.)

To create dummy shippers in DCS:

1. Select function ID 00262-DC-DC Transfer.

2. Select a warehouse other than your current warehouse.

3. Enter a ship to ID (use Lookup (?)) if necessary).

4. Enter a Product Class

5. Press F4 and select a SKU and quantity for the shipper.

6. Press F3 and the shipper is created in Ready to Task (51) status.

Use function ID 02013 option 6 (Task) for releasing the shipper. It should update to 61 status.

To process the shipper into picked status, use function ID 02512-Batch Management - CRT and select option 4 (Confirm). Enter the shipper number and press F3.

The shipper should update to picked status.
