Error description
The Assignemnt manager shows avaiabilty after Vacation hours have been allocated. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION When vacation hours are outside the Work hours, the Assignment manager is showing the full work horus as allocated. Displaying wrong available hours in Assignment Manager for Person whose start date < shift Start Date or End Date > shift End Date or both under Modify person availability section. REPRODUCTION STEPS 1. Administration -> Calendars Search DAY Work Periods Tab NEW Row -> today, Shift Holiday, 09:00 AM to 17:00 PM STEPS TO REPLICATE 1) Login to Maximo application 2) Navigate to People application Administration -> Resources -> People -> Search ALLEN 3) Go to More Actions>> Modify person Availability Work Dates will show today 9 to 5 for 8 hours 4) Under Modify Work Dates section, click on New Row 5) Provide the Work Date, Start Time, End Time & select Vacation in Reason Code. Values outside the work hours. For Example: 2 May 2017 08:00 to 18:00 10 hours vacation Note: Start Time < Shift Start Time OR End Time > Shift End Time OR both. 6) Click OK. Record will be saved 7) Navigate to Work Order -> Assignment Manager 8) Assignment Manager Screen We can see that there are 8 h ours of availability showing, when they are set as Vacation. The value should be 0 hours and not 8:00 hours. CURRENT ERROUNEOUS RESULT The Assignment Manager available hours show even when the vacation hours for that day have been entered. EXPECTED RESULT: The available hours should take into consideration the shift hours to avoid allocating any that already have been booked. ADDITIONAL INFO: This applies for partial overlap to work hours or the full work hour shift. The modified availability is applied only if: - its start date is equal to period start date OR - its end date is equal to period end date The expected behaviour should be the same as Graphical Assigment application, where mod. avail. with any start/end times should be applied.
