Problem summary


    

  • Nashorn jjs can't execute EBCDIC script files. It was due to
UTF-8 encoding used even for EBCDIC files.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The JRE has been updated so that Nashorn can execute EBCDIC
scripts.
.
This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   8    SR3 FP10  (8.0.3.10)
