Problem summary
Java generates an excessive number of signals gathering native stacks for javacore files
Problem conclusion
Signal handling is more robust in Linux kernel releases 3.0 and later. In those Linux kernels, Java no longer needs to queue so many signals to ensure that native stacks are collected in a timely manner. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR3 FP10 (8.0.3.10) . Contact your IBM Product's Service Team for these Service Refreshes and Fix Packs. For those running stand-alone, information about the available Service Refreshes and Fix Packs can be found at: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/
