Error description
Error Message: When the Java program prints out a String, "java.lang.String@ keyword" is printed out instead. . Stack Trace: N/A .
Local fix
This issue can be worked around with -Xjit:disableInlinerArgsPropagation. Notice this might affect the performance of the Java program.
Problem summary
The problem happens when the inliner in the JIT compiler uses inaccurate type information and inlines a more generic method from a superclass rather than the overridden method for a specific subclass.
Problem conclusion
The inliner has been updated to ensure accurate type information is used to select the correct method for inlining. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR2 FP10 (8.0.2.10) . Contact your IBM Product's Service Team for these Service Refreshes and Fix Packs.
