Error description
Error Message: N/A . Stack Trace: N/A . In the failure situation, a JVMTI agent suspends the Java VM finalizer daemon thread. All application threads terminate causing the Java VM to start the shutdown sequence, including terminating the JVMTI subsystem.The JVMTI agent is now unable resume the finalizer thread.The Java VM hangs waiting for the finalizer thread to terminate.
Local fix
It is strongly recommended that system threads such as the finalizer, JIT and garbage collector threads, etc. not be suspended, either using JVMTI SuspendThread() or SuspendThreadList(), or the deprecated Thread.suspend(), as this can have unpredictable effects.Note that it is not necessary to suspend threads when getting their stack traces via JVMTI GetStackTrace(), Thread.getStackTrace() and related functions.

Problem conclusion
The Java VM will terminate if the finalizer thread is suspended at VM shutdown. This prevents some normal JVM shutdown procedures from running, and may cause the JVM to leak memory at shutdown. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 6 SR16 FP7 (6.0.16.7) 7 SR9 FP10 (7.0.9.10) 8 SR1 FP10 (8.0.1.10) 6 R1 SR8 FP7 (6.1.8.7) 7 R1 SR3 FP10 (7.1.3.10) .
