Make sure that the thread which created the JVM gets terminated after all the Java threads terminated
Problem summary
The problem is caused when the Java Heap backend storage is freed up when the thread which created the JVM terminates before other Java threads terminated
Problem conclusion
The JVM has been updated to retain the Java Heap backend storage till the termination of the JVM by allocating the storage at the JVM address space scope/context. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 7 SR9 (7.0.9.0) 8 SR1 (8.0.1.0) 6 R1 SR8 FP4 (6.1.8.4) 7 R1 SR3 (7.1.3.0) .
