Cartonisation Failing for Customer Having Certain Ship Label Level Indicator

Cause

Resolving The Problem

Cartonization is failing for any customer having Ship Label Level Indicator as C/P. However, the same customer with a Ship Label Level Indicator of N, then cartonization succeeds.

The pick strategy is set up to do suggested cartonisation during volume cartonisation.

The following error is logged in the alert log:

AS01 |444 |0 |WH2349 |120 |0 |3 |Oracle |Error |whs_parm.c |1467 |Oracle Err
SqlCode 1403 SQLCD 0 SqlMessage . |2 |20000801182720 |yantra |02010

Solution:

Schema was in lowercase in the whse_schema map file. Thus, the system tries to find the length of sequence by reading the max value for the sequence of the schema.

Change wh_sql_seq.pc to have
AND SEQUENCE_OWNER= upper( :sequence_owner)
