Error description
ENVIRONMENT: ITM 6.2.2 PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Manage Situations dialog shows stopped situations with a status of "Not Available". This is not consistant with the command line interface (tacmd listsit -m <node_name>) which shows the status as "Stopped". RECREATE INSTRUCTIONS: Open the Manage Situations dialog in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal client. You will see status of "Not Available" for some situations. Now run the tacmd listsit command using the -m option and the status will show up as "Stopped" instead.
Local fix
Problem summary
Stopped situations in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal managed situations dialog show a status of not availble instead of stopped. Situations listed in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal "Managed Situations" dialog have always shown a status of "Not Available" when the situation is stopped at the monitoring server. The tacmd command to list the situation status shows "Stopped". So this apar is to sync up the Tivoli Enterprise Portal with the tacmd command which lists situation status.
Problem conclusion
Fixed the Managed Situations dialog to show "Stopped" in the status column when the situation is not running. The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance packages: | fix pack | 6.2.2-TIV-ITM-FP0003
