Error description
Cloning the CreateSR application does not clone the View Service Request link In Application Designer, search for the app CREATESR. There is a View Service Requests link - that when you use the application, allows you to view service requests from that app. When we clone that application, the View Service Request link is not cloned. Steps to replicate, from client: Open Maximo logged as Maxadmin. Go to Application Designer and bring up CREATESR. Out of the box, there is a View Service Request link that will take you to the View Service Request application When I select the action Duplicate Application Definition, give it a new application name (TEST1) and a description. Save Bring up the new application (TEST1) Notice that View Service Requests link is not there. So when I create a service request from this application, I cannot just click on the View Service Request link to quickly get there. I would need to use the Go To Menu. But if I were to use the out of the box Create Service Request, the link is there and I can easily go to View Service Request. Replicated in Maximo 7.1.1.6

Problem conclusion
A new property has been added to the appbar control that allows customization of the AppBar links for a new Self Service app, whether it is cloned from an existing application, or created from scratch. To configure the AppBar links, export the XML for the new application, then edit the <appbar> tag to include a new "appbarlinks" property, and reimport. This new property contains one or more sets of link attributes, separated by semicolons. Each set of attributes contains the following three attributes, separated by commas: (1) the ID of the linked application, (2) the description to be displayed in the appbar, and (3) the image to display next to the description in the appbar link. If the appbarlinks property is set on the appbar control, then any existing links that are found in the database are ignored, and only the customized links are displayed. This property has no effect on the menubar items. Following is the format for the new appbarlinks property, and an example of a customized <appbar> control: appbarlinks="APP1,Description1,img1;APP2,Description2,img2" <appbar id="servreqs" appbarlinks="CREATESR,Create Service Request,appimg_createsr.gif;SEARCHSOL,Search Solutions,appimg_searchsol.gif"/>
