Cause

Resolving The Problem

Where are the cubes stored? On the host machine or local where Powerplay is installed?
The cubes are stored on the local PC with Cognos.

How much space is needed?
Depends on the nature of the reports and size of the database. 50 Gigs (what they plan to use) should be more than adequate.

Do they need a separate Oracle /SQL server instance?
No, it extracts everything that it needs from the database where the YAF views are created. You only to specify the connectivity information to that database.
