How is inventory status displayed in Sterling warehouse management system pack station?
Answer
In Sterling warehouse management system - Inventory status in pack status is displayed as below; when user scans ItemID; system invokes translatedBarCode API.
1. If this API returns a single (inventory) record (which is the case most of the times), system defaults the inventory status returned in the output of the API.
2. If the translateBarcode API output doesn't return any record or returns multiple records, then system calls getInventoryStatusList API for the given node and defaults the first status from the output of getInventoryStatusList API.
Tip: To ensure that single inventory status exists in pack station, you can configure inventory status transition rules at pack zone such that inventory moved to pack station will always be in a particular inventory status.
