Will Item Based Allocation cancel the reservations in YFS_INVENTORY_RESERVATION?
Answer
No, Item Based Allocation will not delete the entries in YFS_INVENTORY_RESERVATION.
In a IBA process, the system will look through the existing demands for the item. To check on the demands from reservations, it will look into reservation table for a particular date i.e. ship date.
Due to any supply changes, IBA will not
cancel the reservation. Typically the reservation will be
cancelled by cancelReservation API which needs to be invoked by the customer on
successful scheduling of orders.
