Error description
When executed "Build TEPS Database...", the operation finished correctly. However, KFWUSERALIAS table is removed from TEPS Database. Environment: ITM 6.2.1, ITM 6.2 FP02 or later / Windows 2003 Detailed Recreation Procedure: 1. Confirm that TEPS DB has been created correctly. Especially, KFWUSERALIAS table has existed. 2. Right-click on TEPS in MTEMS and select "Advanced"-"Utilities "-"Build TEPS Database...". 3. Confirm that it completes. 4. Confirm that TEPS DB, then KFWUSERALIAS table is removed. Local fix
Instead of MTEMS, execute the following. 1. migrate-export.bat 2. DB2DataSource.exe 3. migrate-import.bat
Problem summary
After running the "Build TEPS Database..." command from the Manage Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Services utility, users cannot log in using the portal client. The login dialog displays error message code KFWITM393E. The Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server log shows an error message indicating the KFWUSERALIAS table is not present.
Problem conclusion
Added KFWUSERALIAS table to migrate_utf8_export.bat. The migrate_utf8_export.bat and migrate_utf8_import.bat scripts will only run if the portal server database is not using the UTF-8 code set. If the portal server database is already UTF-8, the export script exits immediately and the import script has no input to process.
