IBM Support

Attribute FollowupDate defaults to a high value during alert creation.

Question & Answer

Question

Attribute FollowupDate defaults to a high value during alert creation.

Answer

Call Center/Store Application v8.5

The FollowupDate attribute defaults to 02 Jan 2400 when an alert is created from the Call Center/Store Application.

A high date such as 02 Jan 2400 is treated as a null date by the application. If nothing is entered against the follow up date field in the UI, the application defaults its value to a high date. In case the high date is undesirable, the pre-command method for createException can be implemented to stamp a different date instead.
