PLAT: Pagination support for custom services and list APIs. Which pagination strategy supports all APIs?

Pagination Support for Services:

Pagination is not supported for services having multiple components, across different pagination strategies. This service can be a custom service or a product service.

Pagination strategy other than Generic type will not work if the service configured and called consists of multiple components like different XSLs and APIs.
It cannot be ascertain that services with multiple components will honor specific pagination strategy other than generic.

Note:
Though generic pagination strategy will support services with multiple components, it is advisable to ensure proper memory management as the load on memory and JVM can result in Out Of Memory due to multiple component calls in the service.

Pagination support for list APIs:

Pagination is not supported for all the list APIs across different Pagination strategies.
Strategies like NextPage are not supported for all List APIs. In general Entity APIs will support different pagination strategies.

If any API is modified or altered then it may not work across different pagination strategy. For example getOrganizationList is not supported for NextPage strategy.

However all the list APIs support Generic pagination strategy.
