APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
The CLI Re-execution will not kick in, when statement chaining is turned on. For example a SQL statement binding a VARBINARY against a BLOB column will fail with SQL0301. CLI will reexecute this statement with the correct bindings under the cover and return the data requested. When statement chaining is turned on, the SQL0301 error is returned to the application without trying to reexecute it.
