Although a file fails to upload in the Document List coach view in Chrome, you do not see an error message. You expect a message like "Document creation failed." to appear when you try to upload a file that is not in the whitelist. Problem summary
In Chrome, the error handler for the server request is not called when a document fails to upload. The success handler is called instead, causing a JavaScript exception.
Problem conclusion
A fix is available for IBM BPM V8.5.5.0 that updates the response handler in Document List to handle a failed upload request. On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR55557: 1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level, and your platform, and then click Continue. 2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR55557, and click Continue. When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for additional installation instructions and information about the fix.
