Local fix
Problem summary
When you claim and open a task, the v1/process REST request sends all the task data, which can take a long time when there are many tasks associated with the process instance.
Problem conclusion
A fix that that allows the REST process details to exclude task data, thereby improving the performance when you claim a task, is currently targeted for inclusion in an upcoming IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) V8.5 cumulative maintenance vehicle.
