Error description
If new groups are added to the Process Federation Server or if group memberships change for a user, the user's next task query does not take the changes into account. PRODUCTS AFFECTED IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) Advanced IBM BPM Standard
Local fix
Problem summary
When groups are added or group memberships change for a user in IBM BPM, the original group memberships are still cached in the Process Federation Server and, therefore, task queries return results for the previously cached group memberships instead of the new group memberships.
Problem conclusion
A fix for IBM BPM V8.5.6.0 is available that invalidates the group membership cache when changes are detected. On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR52828: 1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level, and your platform, and then click Continue. 2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR52828, and click Continue. When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for additional installation instructions and information about the fix.
