Error description
When you start a business process definition (BPD) from a service by using the tw.system.startProcessByName method, you see an error and stack trace that is similar to the following content if the BPD uses a JavaScript method from a managed file. Local fix
Problem summary
Calling JavaScript code from different artifacts (in this case, a service implementation and BPD managed file) on the same thread can cause the individual code to run in the wrong JavaScript context and result in an error.
Problem conclusion
A fix is/will be available for IBM BPM that cleans the JavaScript context to prevent the error and reset the context to the original value after the JavaScript execution completes. On Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral), search for JR52531 1. Select IBM Business Process Manager with your edition from the product selector, the installed version to the fix pack level, and your platform, and then click Continue. 2. Select APAR or SPR, enter JR52531, and click Continue. When you download fix packages, ensure that you also download the readme file for each fix. Review each readme file for additional installation instructions and information about the fix.
