Error description
The idea is that selected table content will be picked up at runtime and displayed in another field within same coach. How it should work is described in detail in following Infocenter section "If you drop a listSelected variable onto the layout, Process Designer adds the Coach View that is associated with the data type of the variable. At run time, the Coach View contains the data for the selected item in the list. For example, you have a Select control that is bound to listBO[] and an Output Text control that is bound to listBO.listSelected.myItem. At run time, the user selects the third item in the Select control. The Output Text control displays the third myItem string."
Local fix
Problem summary
When a coach view is bound to the listSelected property of a list (and the list contains complex types), the view does not get updated when the selected item of the list is changed. This prevents dynamic list selections from updating these views. USER AFFECTED: Business Process Manager Advanced, Standard and Express New Generation Coach end users. PROBLEM DETAILED DESCRIPTION: The problem is that when a view is bound to a property of the listSelected item, there is no trigger to update this view whenever the listSelected property is changed. Since listSelected is a dynamic pointer that changes at runtime, the initial binding logic is not applicable. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: This APAR fix will trigger a refresh on all views that are bound to listSelected whenever this property of the list changes. FIX AVAILABILITY: Fix for 8.0.1 is planned for the next cumulative mainteance deliverable for 8.0.1. Fix for 8.5 is planned for the next cumulative mainteance deliverable for 8.5.
