Error description

• After running for a least 12 hours it may be viewed in the heap
  that ThreadLocalFoundationProxy  is building up a large number
  of objects which are not getting released.  This fix changes the
  behavior of the code

Problem conclusion

• Instead of keeping a HashSet within the object, a WeakHashMap is
  used instead to provide pointers to the object.
