USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Commerce users with V7.0 Feature Pack 4 installed and Management Center feature enabled. PROBLEM ABSTRACT: Product data loaded using massloader with offers that have conflicting or overlapping quantity ranges or date ranges cannot be viewed and edited in Management Center. BUSINESS IMPACT: Some customers cannot view or edit their offers in Management Center, causing loss of productivity. RECOMMENDATION:
Problem conclusion
This iFix made changes on Management Center OpenLaszlo files (both restricted and unrestricted), and on Java classes. Applying the iFix includes some manual steps which are documented in the README for both toolkit and runtime environments. The overall steps are: 1. Apply the iFix on Developer environment(toolkit): be aware of the manual steps in the README. 2. Deploy the updated web module LOBTools from Developer environment to product enviroment. 3. Apply the iFix on Product environment: be aware of the manual steps in the README. To enable the ability of Management Center in handling offers, some minor behavior changes are inevitably introduced. So customers who are not ready to accept these changes should not install this interim fix. The changes are: 1. A new property named "Maximum Quantity" is exposed in Offer Price grid, so the user can specify a value for it when creating or updating an offer; The property can also be left blank, which equates to an infinite amount. 2. In the catalog tool of Management Center, validation that enforce the uniqueness of minimum quantity of all the offers of the same product has been removed, so customer can create multiple offers with the same minimum quantity. 3. In the catalog tool of Management Center, validation of checking minimum quantity had been removed. 4. In the catalog tool of Management Center, add start date and end date exposed to customer and provide the date format validation in the UI.
