Error description
When using My Team Performance page and filtering by team, an internal query can run for excess periods of time. When routing tasks to a list of users, a new group is created for each task. This caused performance problems as the number of groups in the system grows very large.

With the fix, existing groups that have the same set of users are re-used across tasks, which greatly reduces the total number of groups created.
Problem conclusion

The problem is fixed via APAR JR41982 and available in fix central. Fix has also been included in the next fix pack and major release. There is a known WAS issue http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PM29846, solution for which is outlined in technote: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21571843 The manual steps outlined in the above technote need to be done to prevent silent rollback of transactions. The fix for the WAS issue is included in WAS 7.0.0.23. There are additional manual steps required for the fix as follows: - Install fix using IM - Go to BPM_HOME/BPM/Lombardi/Tools/upgrade/JR41982/<db_name>/replacePro c edures.sql and run the replaceProcedures.sql stored procedure on the database. - Ensure steps listed http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21571843 technote have been done. In version 7.5.0 Fix Pack 1 (7.5.0.1), this fix is available as a part of the JR42581 ifix package.
