Error description
If a product "Code" is modified using Management Center, it only the PARTNUMBER in the CATENTRY table is updated. It does not update PARTNUMBER in the BASEITEM table as expected.
Local fix
BASEITEM.PARTNUMBER can be updated directly in the database. This issue does not appear in WebSphere Commerce Accelerator

USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Commerce users on v7 who update product codes using Management Center PROBLEM ABSTRACT: In Commerce Managment Center (CMC), if a product "Code" is modified, CATENTRY.PARTNUMBER is updated but BASEITEM.PARTNUMBER holds the previous value. BUSINESS IMPACT: This will cause data inconsistency and can lead to dataload failure. RECOMMENDATION:
