Problem summary
---------------------------------------------------------- The following defects have been fixed in DB2 LUW V9.5 FP7: . ---------------------------------------------------------- . Defect 773135: MININFLIGHT_SEQ is not updated when SQLCAPTURE is run with AUTOSTOP=Y even though there is work captured. . User Affected: SQLCAPTURE . Problem Description: The restart point is not moved forward when the SQLCAPTURE program run with AUTOSTOP=Y. This happens if SQLCAPTURE reaches end of log before the commit interval (default 30 seconds) has been triggered. We had the customer try 1 second and due to the sparse workload, SQLCAPTURE reached end of log much before 1 second. . There is low risk no data loss. The consequence is that on restart, SQLCAPTURE will start farther behind in the log than necessary and will reread some log records. The MAXCOMMIT_SEQ is properly maintained, thus, there is no risk of capturing a transaction twice. The only risk is the reading of additional log records that will be ignored by SQLCAPTURE. . ---------------------------------------------------------- . Defect 783022: Restart in partitioned environments could result in loss of partial transaction . User Affected: LUW QCAPTURE and SQLCAPTURE in DB2 DPF environments . Problem Description: Part of a global transaction could be skipped (not published) during the restart or reinit of a QCAPTURE or SQLCAPTURE program. . Problem Summary: A timing condition exists which could result in part of a global transaction being skipped after evaluating a global prepare log record timestamp. . Problem Conclusion: The problem has been fixed. . ---------------------------------------------------------- . Defect 776032: Status show details command causes a shared memory leak. . User Affected: QCAPTURE and QAPPLY . Problem Description: Status show details command causes a shared memory leak. QCAPTURE and QAPPLY do not detach from the command program shared memory after issuing STATUS SHOW DETAILS response messages. If status show details command is repeatedly executed from a script it causes DB2 to display 'SQL1221N The Application Support Layer heap cannot be allocated' messages. . ---------------------------------------------------------- . Defect 684805: ASNTDIFF gets SQL0104N if the decimal point is set to comma . User Affected: ASNTDIFF . Problem Description: When the DEFAULT DECIMAL POINT is set to comma, ASNTDIFF will encounter SQL0104N. This is because the generated ORDER BY clause contains some comma without any space followed by them. . Problem Conclusion: The problem has been fixed. . ----------------------------------------------------------
