Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users running DataStage 8.0.1 jobs that contain user-defined SQL Statements. **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If a user-defined SQL statement contains single quotes then an error such as "Syntax error: expected something between ',' and the end of the request." will be logged and the job will not be runnable. **************************************************************** RECOMMENDATION: Apply the patch for JR34994. This patch is included in 8.0.1 Fix Pack 3. ****************************************************************
Problem conclusion
The SQL statement parameter parsing has been revised to correctly process single quotes.
