Error description
Import job from Datastage 7.5.2 to IS 8.1- error - Line xxxx: Mapping failed to copy attributes: JobDefn -> DSJobDef (EObject:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, JobDefn). Object=Jobname (==your job name) Class=Job designs. Cannot find job (= your job name)
Local fix
What happens is that the TableDef line for a link column points to a table definition whose name is > 255 chars. Modify the dsx file manually.

This change is included in 8.1 Fix Pack 1. ****************************************************************
Problem conclusion
Problem is caused by a link column having a reference to a TableDefinition whose ID is > 255 chars long. This is ultimatelycaused by a stage type that generates an incorrect reference (onDataStage 7.5), but the over-long ID string does not cause a problem until you attempt to import the job on a version 8 DataStage system. The fix is to ignore these erroneous references on import.
