Error description
Problem Summary ------------------- I received the following problem report and request from the TSR: Request/requirement Support upsert function on Netezza stage or improve ODBC connecter upsert performance. Background DB: Netezza 4.5.2 P-3 DSNetezza ODBC Driver Version: 4.05.02.8522 IS/DS 8.1 / Windows 2003 with Oracle Metadata server. Partner tested upsert using ODBC connecter with 100 K records ( almost half record update). It took 6 hours or more to complete job. So they divided one upsert to 3 stages 1.FULL read to work table 2.delete record form target table that has the same key with work table. 3.Load all work table to the target. They executed 3 staged sequentially and found it finished around 3 minutes! A person in the partner said the upsert function is already implemented in our competitive products from Informatica/BO(now SAP). So they eagerly want to have the same function in our product.

Netezza Upsert stage works differently when compared to other PXEE Stages. So please through the ppt and concerned NOTES of eachslide and start using it.
