Error description
Local fix
Problem summary
1. Unable to delete publication qmap when the event publisher has several publications. Although the qmap is not deleted, I expected an error message telling me that I can't delete a qmap with existing subscriptions instead of the cryptic message that is currently being displayed ( "The action did not generate any SQL scripts because the metadata already reflects the value to be updated") 2.NPE when adding an expression to a new federated table, same for existing federated table. From a user standpoint, it looks like nothing happened when the user presses the New Expression button. 3.New member is not able to be added to existing subscription set in RC. The window "Add Members to Subscription Sets" doesn't disappear when the OK button is pressed. And the new member is not able to be added.
Problem conclusion
1. Now aforementioned expected error message displays when the user tries to delete a publication qmap with existing publications. 2.The New Expression button now works as expected for when the target is a new federated table. Accessed the nicknameTargetCol only when truly needed. 3. The New Expression button now works as expected for when the target is a new federated table. Accessed the nicknameTargetCol only when truly needed. 3. Function now works as expected, the user can now add members to subscription sets.
