Error description
When running a CLI/ODBC based application with the CLI statement attribute SQL_ATTR_ASYNC_ENABLE turned on, the performance may be much slower than expected. This APAR will improve the performance of Asynchronous statements to an acceptable manner.
Local fix
Turn SQL_ATTR_ASYNC_ENABLE off in the application or use the db2 cli.ini keyword/value pair: ASYNCENABLE=0
Problem summary
