Error description
An Embedded SQL application may receive an SQL0804N error when e xecuting a package from a remote DB2 for z/OS client to a DB2 v9 .5 UDB server. . The problem is that the application will be looking for a section number in the package that does not exist. The problem is due to the maximum number of sections that should have been created at bind time. The DB2 v9.5 server is incorrectly using the wrong maximum section number that was sent by the server. . This is the total_sect column in the SYSCAT.PACKAGES view for the package. If the section number the application is using is larger then the value in total_sect, the application will receiv e an SQL0804N error.
